With "Reflets", Les Dominotiers and Carré Blanc have created a design that is available as panoramic wallpaper and a bedding set.

Painted entirely in watercolor, the panoramic scene depicts a peaceful lake bordered by a willow tree, whose branches lend a Japanese-inspired touch to the scene. Centered around a central horizon line, the sky and water echo each other in a play of gradations, while the waves transform into a flock of birds in flight, inviting the viewer to follow their journey toward new horizons.

"We took a graphic approach to the waves and birds, envisioning how they would look on the Carré Blanc bedding", he points outAlice Béteille, Designer of the Dominotiers.

For both Carré Blanc and Les Dominotiers, this collaboration opens up a new field of expression: that of a room conceived as a whole. On the wall, the panoramic design opens up perspectives and adds depth; on the bed, the waves and birds extend the poetry of the landscape. Together, the wallpaper and bedding create an enveloping setting, where each element complements the others.

"We immediately envisioned ‘Reflets’ on a flowing, airy cotton percale. And we reworked certain elements of the design—such as the waves and the horizon line bathed in a soft, powdery light—to adapt them to the requirements of bedding. And on the reverse side of the set, we developed an all-over bird pattern that is both minimalist and graphic," explains Laura Bert Choffel, product director at Carré Blanc.
